About Us

The UCI walking tour is conducted by current UCI students known as Campus Representatives.


Campus representatives are a group of about 50 students who serve UC Irvine while developing personal skills and augmenting academic growth. Students selected for this program are people who enjoy their college experience and wish to share it with campus visitors, and in particular, with prospective students, parents, and school personnel.

The goals of the Campus Representative Program are:

• to introduce and familiarize prospective students, parents, school personnel, and other campus visitors with the campus, UCI's academic programs and majors, admission requirements, support services, and student life;

• to assist with recruitment programs for prospective high school students;

  

• to enhance the experience of campus visitors by providing personalized VIP service, accurate information, and appropriate referrals; and

• to provide a substantive, out-of-classroom learning experience for participating students.
