Directions to UC Irvine

UCI is located about one-mile south of Interstate 405 (San Diego Freeway.)

Parking permits are required Monday through Sunday. Visitors may park at short-term or metered spaces for $2.00*** per half hour. Parking meters take quarters only. A one-day parking permit, which allows you to park in general spaces, may be purchased for $8.00*** at the parking structure/Lot #4 (see map below).

*** Parking rates are subject to change. Please check with Parking and Transportation Services for current rates.

Bus Parking: See map below. Please drop off students at the flagpoles in front of Aldrich Hall (Administration building), then proceed to Lot #CT. Parking permits for buses cost $16.00.

Driving Directions from the San Diego area or south of I-405:

• From I - 5 North:
  
  1. Merge onto I-405 North and exit at Culver Drive.
  2. Make a left onto Culver Drive and proceed to Campus Drive.
  3. Turn right onto Campus Drive and proceed to Bridge Rd/West Peltason Dr.*
  4. Turn left at Bridge Rd/West Peltason Dr.* and proceed to Pereira.
  5. Turn left onto Pereira and then turn immediately left into the parking structure.#
  6. The UCI Visitor Center is located in the Student Center, directly across from the parking structure. For further assistance/directions, please ask the parking attendant.

Notes:
* Bridge Road and West Peltason Drive are the same street.
# Buses should proceed straight on Pereira to the flagpoles.

• From I-5:
  1. Take I-5 South to SR-55 South to I-405 South. Then follow the directions below.

• From I-405 south:
  1. Take I-405 South and exit at Jamboree Road.
  2. Make a right onto Jamoree Road and proceed to Campus Drive.
  3. Turn left onto Campus Drive and proceed to Bridge Rd/West Peltason Dr.*
  4. Turn right at Bridge Rd/West Peltason Dr.* and proceed to Pereira.
  5. Turn left onto Pereira and then turn immediately left into the parking structure.#
